Super air knife industrial principle
After the compressed air enters the air knife, it is blown out at high speed as an air flow sheet with a thickness of only 0.05 mm. Through the principle of the Costa effect and the special geometric shape of the air knife, this thin air curtain can divert up to 30-40 times the ambient air, forming a thin high-strength, large-flow impact air curtain. Ruitian Mechanical and Electrical Technology's Leitz air knives are divided into two types: standard air knives and super air knives in terms of working modes. The standard air knife's air curtain deflects 90 degrees and then blows out; the super air knife's air curtain blows out horizontally. The Costa effect, also called the Coanda effect, means that when there is surface friction between a fluid (water flow or air flow) and the surface of the object it flows through, the flow rate of the fluid will slow down. As long as the curvature of the object's surface is not too large, the fluid will deviate from its original flow direction and instead flow on the surface of the protruding object. Finally, a strange phenomenon will occur in which the fluid is adsorbed on the surface of the object and flows. You can do a small experiment like this: open the faucet, release a small stream of water, and place the back of the spoon next to the flowing water. The water will be attracted and flow to the back of the spoon. This is the result of the Coanda effect. When the water flow attaches to the spoon, the Coanda effect water flow always flows on the convex surface of the spoon.
Product Description:
After the compressed air enters the air knife, it is blown out at high speed as an air flow sheet with a thickness of only 0.05 mm. Through the Coanda effect principle and the special geometric shape of the air knife, this thin air curtain can absorb 30 to 40 times the ambient air to form a thin, high-strength, large-flow impact air curtain. Air knives are divided into two types: standard air knives and super air knives in terms of working modes. The air curtain of the standard air knife is deflected 90 degrees and blown out, while the air curtain of the super air knife blows out horizontally.
Product performance and features:
Features low air consumption, low noise, and powerful blowing ability.
The air knife is made of aluminum alloy or stainless steel. The aluminum alloy air knife has been electroplated in the manufacturing process and has a service life much longer than other similar products . The stainless steel air knife can be used in high temperature and highly corrosive environments.
"Full airflow" design means that the width of the air knife is exactly the same as the width of the air curtain blown out by the air knife. There are installation and connection screw holes on the back of the air knife, and the required length can be combined as needed.
The maximum air knife can divert 35 times the ambient air, and the air consumption is only 1/3 of the traditional air blowing pipe.
There are no wearing parts inside the air knife, and the internal gasket is made of stainless steel, with a service life of more than 10 years. It can be equipped with eddy current fans and centrifugal high-pressure fans as the air source, making it flexible and convenient to use.
It is driven by compressed air, does not require electricity, and can be used in explosion-proof environments.
The airflow is uniform, blown out in a straight line, without vibration, and low noise (60~75DBA).
Small size, easy to install, maintenance-free, and can be turned on/off instantly.
No electricity, no risk of leakage explosion, no radio frequency/electromagnetic interference.
The structure is simple and sturdy, not easily damaged and has an extremely long service life.
Air knife lengths of various specifications (2″-55″) are provided and the length can be customized at will.
Super Wind Knife is suitable for:
The air knife creates a powerful air curtain that can be used in a variety of blow-off and air-cooling applications, such as:
1. Automotive industry: Used to blow away extra water, coolant, dust, debris, etc. during manufacturing, as well as for cooling, drying, and dust removal before steel plate painting.
2. Electronic industry: Electronic circuit boards are quickly dried before assembly.
3. Beverage canning and bottling: Before labeling, inkjet or packaging of beverage bottles, blow off the moisture and attachments from the mouth or body of the bottle.
4. Chemical industry: Before labeling or packaging, blow off surface chemicals or moisture.
5. Food and medicine: Before manufacturing or packaging, blow off moisture and attachments, or remove dust from the opening and bag before filling.
6. Metal industry: Blow coolant or other liquids from metal surfaces. The surface is dried or cooled before polishing, electroplating, and spray painting.
7. Rubber and plastics industry: Blow off dust or debris on the product surface. Dry before extruding or shooting. After injection molding, the product cools.
8. Printing (inkjet): Blow off dust, debris, and water vapor before inkjet and printing, or use it to quickly dry the ink.
